Coon (1924-1973) was a television writer and producer. Early in his career he worked as a radio correspondent and journalist and also as a free-lance writer. Around 1954 Coon began writing for television. He worked with Universal City Studios and became head writer and producer for the new projects department, where he was responsible for the creation and development of new television series.
